Does anyone know if there is a flexisign demo that can be downloaded? I am sure that I am going to buy it but I want to get their discount for owners of VersaWorks but I will not be recieving my SP540V until October. The reason for the demo is that I would like to start taking some of the tutorials that I have found on the internet as well as play around with the program so I will be more up to speed for using it with the 540 when it arrives.

While I'm on the topic, which version would you think is best. I figure that I should go right up to the pro. One more question: Can you put the rip engine on another computer or does it have to be on the one the program is installed on? I would like to offload the rip to a printer server to 'free up' the design computer. Thanks, Zardoz. Hey Guys, Yes, you can get a demo version of the software from almost any retailers. The only problem is it will not allow you to output anything.
You can't save, print or export anything. It is strictly for viewing purposes.
Yes, go Pro all the way. Yes, you can run the production manager on another computer. I don't know how much it will free up the design computer, I think all the ripping is done on computer that sends the image to the production manager. The best way to go is to get 2 copy's of flexi, network the 2 computers together, design on one computer and rip through the other.

The dongle is a term used to describe the security key that Flexisign uses to prevent multiple copies of it's software being used simultaneously. Without this in place the software will not work properly. It looks like a usb stick and plugs into a usb port (or if your software is really old - it will be a device that plugs into the lpt1 port ). If the dongle develops a fault flexi will no longer run as intended and may default to demo mode.

If you don't have a dongle this brings into question the validity of the software you are using? Thanks for the reply's guys. It's flexi 10 and it's not a hack it's legit. I bought the PC off a sign company as he upgraded. I have since been on the phone which he used teamviewer so he could use my computer but couldn't sort it that way so he said he will burn me the cd and send it out in the post next week.
And I will have to uninstall and reinstall. But since you mentioned that dongle.
I'd say a few weeks ago there was a similar thing to a usb but green and thinner stuck in the back of the tower which I removed as I thought it wasn't doing anything. And the software has worked fine since until today. Is this what your talking about?

The thing is I can't afford to wait until next week. I have a urgent job to get done? If some could confirm this that would be great?
