I would suggest you to try installing the game in compatibility mode and check if its working. Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website or CD/DVD. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. He could on Windows 8 so now he's very unhappy with me. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Hi there If it is the same issue that happened to me when you try to install the game nothing happens. But in task manager it shows running as a background process. It took me ages to get it working on windows 10 but I finally managed it. On my task manager there was a program running called vprotect.exe (2nd to last tab at the top of task manager and it's underneath).
I ended task and instantly started working. I hope this helps if this is the issue.
